Northern California forecast: Temperatures closer to average for this time of year

IT IS 618 RIGHT NOW, AS WE DO KCRA 3 WEATHER ONCE AGAIN, TAMARA, JOINING US WITH WHAT’S ON TAP FOR TODAY. YEAH. LET ME ASK YOU GUYS, HOW HAVE YOUR ALLERGIES BEEN? BETTER. WAY BETTER. GOOD. YEAH. IT’S A LITTLE BIT BETTER SINCE IT GOT HOT. WELL THAT’S GOOD. YEAH. THE HEAT HAS DEFINITELY HELPED. DEFINITELY QUITE A BIT. WE’RE DOWN TO THAT MODERATE CONCENTRATION GUYS FOR THE TREE POLLEN SURE. THERE’S STILL A COUPLE OF POLLENS IN THE AIR, ESPECIALLY THE PINE RIGHT NOW. AND THEN THE GRASS IS MORE IN THAT MODERATE SETTING. SO THAT IS DEFINITELY THE RUN OF HEAT WE’VE HAD LATELY. IS DEFINITELY HELPED IN TERMS OF THE POLLEN CONCENTRATION ACROSS THE AREA RIGHT NOW. A LIVE LOOK HERE IN DOWNTOWN, WE’VE GOT SOME CLOUDS THAT ARE SPREAD OUT. AND OVERALL THESE CLOUDS WILL BE DECREASING AS THE DAY GOES ON. RIGHT NOW, 60 DEGREES CURRENTLY IN SACRAMENTO. WE’RE AT 65 CHECKING IN IN STOCKTON, 70 AS YOU’RE WAKING UP AND ENJOYING MAYBE THAT FIRST SIP OF TEA OR COFFEE ON THIS WEDNESDAY MORNING, 53 CURRENTLY IN LAKE TAHOE. TODAY’S TEMPERATURES ARE GOING TO COME IN VERY CLOSE TO WHAT IS AVERAGE. THE AVERAGE. NOW THAT WE’RE HEADING INTO THESE FINAL DAYS OF JUNE, IS RIGHT AT 92 DEGREES FOR THIS 26TH DAY OF JUNE, HIGH TODAY WILL GO UP TO 94. SO AGAIN, WE’RE JUST RIGHT IN THAT BALLPARK OF WHAT IS COMMONLY AVERAGE IN THE VALLEY. PLANNER FOR TODAY EXPECT WE WILL HAVE JUST A SUBTLE SOUTH WIND AROUND. WE CAN FEEL THAT DIFFERENCE. THIS MORNING AS THAT DELTA BREEZE IS AROUND. WE’RE GOING TO BE INTO THE MID 80S BY LUNCHTIME. DAYTIME HIGHS WILL POOL INTO THOSE LOWER TO MID 90S. WITH THAT STEADY SOUTH WIND AND PICKING UP THIS EVENING, SO SHOULD BE ANOTHER GORGEOUS EVENING TO OPEN THE WINDOWS AND LET THAT BREEZE COME THROUGH. HERE’S A VIEW RIGHT NOW. AND THIS ONE COMES IN FROM SONORA. AND THIS IS LOOKING OUT TO THE WEST. SO OUT TOWARDS TUTTLE TOWN AND IN TOWARDS THE NEW MELONES RESERVOIR. WE’RE AT A COMFORTABLE START IN THE FOOTHILLS. WE’RE IN THE LOWER 70S. WE’LL BE INTO THE UPPER 70S BY 9 A.M., WITH HIGHS TODAY PEAKING IN THE UPPER 80S, CLOSE TO THAT 90 DEGREE MARK. AND IN YOUR TAHOE PLANNER, THERE’S A VIEW FROM NORTH STAR GOLF COURSE. NOTHING BUT BLUE SKY 48 DEGREES, RIGHT NOW. WE’LL BE CHECKING IN AT THE UPPER 70S BY LATER ON IN THE AFTERNOON. HERE’S THE PATTERN GOING FORWARD AS WE GET INTO TOMORROW’S SYSTEM WILL GO BY TO THE NORTH. THAT WILL JUST HELP TO INCREASE A BIT MORE OF THAT DELTA BREEZE AND AGAIN, DROP TEMPERATURES BACK ONCE WE GO THROUGH THURSDAY. SO THURSDAY LIKELY TO BE THE COOLEST DAY OF THE WEEK AHEAD. THEN LOOKING BEYOND THAT TOWARDS FRIDAY, A LITTLE BIT MORE OF A NORTH WIND STARTS TO DEVELOP AND WE WILL SEE TEMPERATURES GO UP JUST IN TIME FOR THE WEEKEND. BUT I’VE GOT NOTHING OPPRESSIVE THIS TIME AROUND FOR THIS WEEKEND WE GET INTO YOUR SUNDAY AND MONDAY THOUGH, AND FOR THE FIRST DAY OF JULY. ON MONDAY IT’S GOING TO COME IN SAYING, YEAH, IT’S JULY, I’M HERE AT 100 DEGREES. THAT’S THE ONE NUMBER IN THE SEVEN DAY FORECAST THAT REALLY KIND OF STANDS OUT AT THIS POINT. OVERALL, THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS, WE JUST KIND OF GO THROUGH THOSE LOWER TO MID 90S RANGE TEMPERATURES BEFORE WE HIT THE HEAT EARLIER NEXT WEEK. BUT JU
